are you more intimate with your mother or father?

for me,as a daughter,I feel I am more intimate with my mother.I can talk anything with my mum,every time I went back home,I will shout "mum" first outside the door.when I feel depressed,I have a chat with my mother.actually,I love my father too,but I do not know what to talk about with him.when my mother is not at home,then I can not find something to talk with my dad.
how about you,do you have the same feeling with me?

I'm a mama's boy. I'm closer with mom cause she spanked me more as a child. My dada and i get along with eachother, we respect eachother. But we don't talk about intimate things. That's mom's department.

I also found myself get close to my mother much more. Usually my mom is soft and sometimes my dad will be serious. When I was little, I was afraid of my dad because his was strict to me. Now I grow up and I can have my own disagreements. When I don't think it's correct, I will say no.
