I am really new to MyLot and I was wondering if it is rude not to respond to responses to disscussions I have started? I mean I do respond to alot of them but usually only the ones that catch my attention.

It's not rude. Not all of discussion can be responded and there are a lot of discussion. So if you want your discussion to be responded, you should create a more attractive discussion.I have created seveal discussion, and there are also less to respond.Don't worry, you will be much better.Try your best to make more attractive discussion.

No, I don't think it is rude if you don't respond to all of them. However, I think if someone gives you a really good response you need to recognize it and respond to it. I also think you should make an effort to always respond to some of the responses. I believe that you should always try to mark the best response to the discussion. I think that is only out of respect for the ones who take the time to respond with a good answer or comment.

It's not rude. Even if you only post one or two discussions a day, it's still almost impossible to keep up with posts if you have something that really takes off and you get a lot of replies.

I too respond to or comment to discussion of my interest and not to all. I don't think it is rude. Why we go with something which we are not interested? Earning is secondary. Thank you for asking.

No, it's not rude. It would be hard to respond to every reply, and your responses would probably get repetitive. Don't worry, a lot of people don't respond to responses. :)

I have been on mylot less than a week so I know about the newness. Personally I only respond to people who answer my discussions if they at least try to make something resembling a discussion. If it's just a one like, "yes, no or maybe" then if I respond at all it's just. Thanks

I don't have time to respond to everything, but I respond to the ones that jump out of me. Also, some responses leave nothing further to be said, and that's that. Do what you can, but don't do so much that you wear out.

hi cowgrl i wont say that it is rude but it is better to respond. when ever my friends do not respond to my discussion i feel bad. why because i spend countless hours responding theirs. i wont mind if u don't respond but make sure to respond to ur friends who respond to u. i rarely respond to my own discussion as i have too little time left after responding theirs. but make sure u chose the best response.

I believe it's actually against the rules to just thank every person for no reason other than thanking, so if nothing relevant comes to mind as a reply then it's better not to reply. I don't reply to all of mine either, but I do rate them with a positive for taking the time and it's good to always choose a best response. I don't like it when people don't choose a best response in threads I take part in, so I try not to do those things which I don't like myself.

I don't think its rude and I only respond to the ones that catch my interest too. I know there are some that don't agree with me when I just add a few words, when I can't always type a long paragraph or whatever, it all depends on the discussion and what its about. -Lora
