true or false: "what you dont know wont hurt you"

i have heard tis saying for many times already and i was just kinda wondering if its true. for me, i think i would have to agree on the saying. because there are times when we dont have to explain something to someone because they will end up getting more hurt if they knew..
what do you think, guys? what is your opinion?

yes,as they say that truth hurts.. but still, it depends on the situation, because there are people who will risk their being hurt just to know the truth, like me, i would rather be crying because of the truth than smiling because of lying..

yes, exaclty, the truth hurts. lolz. :) well, it just really depends on the situation, huh? there are times when we would rather not know th truth if it would only hurt us. however, there are times that we would rather prefer to know the truth so that we can know the real score. lolz. :) life is one big puzzle. *sigh*

It sound a little "immoral" to say that, but I really think it's true. Most times we do this to ourselves, don't we? We try everything in order not to see the truth that's just there in front of us.
It's not a healthy and right thing in my opinion, but it is true.

yes, it may sound a little immoral but we do tend to do this every now and then. and besides, i think no one has ever been exempted from this experience. i think almost everyine has been a victim or a doer of this kind of actions. lolz. :) another bout of human nature. lolz. :)

For me it is true but i still want to know even if it hurts. That way i will not look like stupid or blind. I prefer knowing it as it give me choices to deal with it or just ignore it but of course thats depend on the situation or issue.

yes, yes, i agree. it all just depends on the situation, right? there are times when we just wanna skip the facts and just pretend that there's nothing really wrong going on and there are also times when we'd rather get hurt rather than not know the truth. it just really depends on the situation. :P

I don`t give so much. If someone wants to lie, I let them lie. I don`t check into it. Because it is them who lie and not me. When I notice I smile. It does not bother me.
I am not easily hurt but if someone doesn`t want to tell me the trouth it is not a crime.

well, good for you. :) i guess you are some kind of an open-minded person, huh? because you know, some people are really very sensitive, they act as if it is the end of the world when they find out that they have been lied to. and guess what? i am one of those people. lolz. :P
