Bebop, Free, and Fusion
In terms of artists, Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane, Rahsaan Roland Kirk,John McLaughlin
I also like a lot of groove/soul jazz and hard-bop like was Montgomery and stuff

Most definitely swing; to have been a part of those times when jazz was in it's youth was phenomenal. No, I didn't get that view, but I have the music.

Jazz in ANY form is good. I'm partial to that which falls under smooth jazz but I like it all - anything jazz/instrumental gets my vote.....

I love all types of jazz, it is in my opinion the best invention of the human being.
My favourites are some old rock fusion, but I can hear from Louis Armstrong (more like blues) to Vince Mendoza (more like classical music), included some hip hop and folk experiments. I think jazz is every music with improvisation.
