Do you keep the E-mail notification 'on' for my discussions?

I have many dear friends here on my lot who regularly contribute their inputs to my discussions. I would like to know, just out of curiosity, how many of you, keep their E-Mail notification 'on' for my discussions, irrespective of the fact, whether you actually reply to my discussions or not?
Please do let me know the position. I shall be thankful to you.

YES, i did that. but as you know, i am not getting any intimation from myLot for some technical problems, it doesn't really help. however, DISCUSSIONS MY FRIENDS STARTED is an excellent addon, which helps me out immensely. and how can i ignore your thoughtfulness!! you have always sent me PMs with the links and i haven't had any problem whatsoever.

I am wondering....why are you not getting E-mail notifications....just think of writing to mylot again, regarding your problem.
Meanwhile, congrats on touching '1900' mark.
Then how do you find my new discussions.....?
let me tell you that I am not 'GREAT'....it is nice friends like you...who visualise and rate me as 'great' which is a big big .....compliment for me.

When I first joined MyLot I had the email notification on for my discussions but I noticed that it was filling up my inbox to quickly and I don't go look at my mail everyday so when someone had to send me something , it was being sent back to them because I had to much in my inbox so I had to shut it off .
I come on MyLot everyday and try to check out the discussions that my friends started and just find them on here as it is much easier for me .

All my email notifications are OFF for all my friends. Because I have so many friends, it would be a mess to put them on. I just go to the link of discussions started by my friends and answer those discussions that are of interest to me.

Yes my email notification .. is on .. but I don't check my email .. I log into mylot and go through my friend list and lookout for the discussion of my interests. I avoid one or two liners of discussions. Really sad to say that many of my friends only write one or two lines of discussions and I feel like running out of their discussions .. can't explain them that this one liner won't give them anything on mylot .. and then they complaint that why their earning is not increasing. Sometimes I really find it harder to find the discussion of my interest .. I am very choosy when it comes to respond to discussions .. I choose discussions on which I can write more and more. Must say that your discussions are of my interest:)

Priti, we appear to be on the same wavelength and vibe.
I share the same opinion which you have written. I also love to start or reply quality discussions and your discussions appealed to me very much.
I agree that one line can put you off.
I may suggest you...that you may go to my profile and please see the discussions, which I have started....not all may be of your liking....but I firmly believe...you would some of the discussions, in my list, of your interests and you may feel like replying to those discussions. I will warmly welcome your reply....but I have come to know that how seriously you post your replies/comments and discussions.
Hats of to you for your wonderful response. I am afraid, before you could reply, the best response was already selected by me...otherwise your reply deserve 'Best Response', undoutedly.

ok i'm confused now LOL i thought by turning on the notification (previous discussion you posted) it means that you will be notified via email when a discussion has been posted by your friends. I think I am missing something here? or is it because I haven't had my coffee this morning LOL

Sorry for the goof up..and consequent confusion.
Do not be confused. Actually the more or less the same discussions was posted ...due to some technical problems. The crux of both the discussions was the same.

i still keep the email notification on, whethere i reply to them or not. In that way i can response to their discussion if i know the discussion or kinda related to the discussion or not. I just keep it on, so i can still participate in mylot even i don't have my own discussion at that moment.

Hello,deepak,I have turned the notification buttons on for all of my friends include you,my email account is swarmed with mylot messages everyday,i will choose those discussions according to my interests ,if i get something to say,i will reply them.But I think i also suffer from a glitch which i may not be able to receive email notifications from some members,sometimes i see their new discussions on their profiles but i have not received any emails for their new discussions.

Anna, Thanks for keeping notification 'on' for my discussions. (Quite right ...it is not possible for you to reply to all of my discussions....it may or may not invoke any interest in you).

I do not go round scouting for discussions to respond. It is too time consuming. I rely on email notifications. The fact that I reply to most of your discussions shows that I had the email notifications on. I often turned on upon approving a friend's request. However, I do turn them off if there is an sudden influx of spams from the friend.

Yes, I keep my email notification on for my discussions, I really didn't know you could turn it off but I always answer my friends discussions first when I get on mylot. As long as I can respond.

hi dpk,
When i was new here , i didnt know i can turn off the email notifications form perticular people and as i keep adding friends my inbox kept getting clustered by the notification emails from mylot . Then i realised i can turn off notfications so now i keep email notfication of all my friends to off because i only reply to discussions i like to reespond irrespective of if a person is in my friends list or not.

I can understand your point. I keep the notification 'on' selectively and if I see that someone is starting too many discussions, I simply switch off the notification because if I concentrate on him/her, I lose tract of others.
