If There Was a Mylot Convention Would You Go?

Well I recently started a topic a few days ago asking people if they have ever met anyone from Mylot. Well to my suprise it was a rather popular topic with overwhelming responses, which by the way I would like to say thank you to everyone that replied. Well someone in particular in my discussion threw out the possible idea of some people throwing a Mylot convention and that they would like to see something like that happen. So the question is if a group of people got together to plan out a convention for say like a whole day or for a whole weekend would you come and attend the convention? I would like peoples thoughts and input about this, thanks!

If this meeting place would be within a reasonable distance for me to travel (via train would be awesome!) then I'd love to attend!

Oh yeah, I think it would be something cool to try out at least one time. If they first time was popular and successful then I'd say keep doing it 1 or 2 times every yeah. I'll be looking into the possibility of starting a project up like this :)

Yes I would go, to a mylot convention. This would be a lot of fun,I can meet all my friends and have a really good time.

true. it's gonna be a lot of fun... people of any ages... from different places with different faces gathered in one place just because we love myLot. wow! might be a dream come true!

Well that is certainly a nice idea. I think that it would depend where the convention was being held. I think if it was close enough to our residence...I may think about going..it would certainly be interesting and you would be able to meet other members face to face and interact with them....

I think that if there was a convention for mylot I would try my best to get there. However where would you hold a mylot convention, how would you choose where to have it? Most likely it would be logical to have it where most mylot users live, right? I think that it would be wonderful idea, if everyone could attend (or most). Let us know what you find out, or if you intend to hold one.

Oh what I neat idea. I am in a fan club and we go to this person's concerts and we have meet alot of nice people this way. Of course we have met some looney ones also. LOL
I think it would depend how far away the convention was and when it was. If it didn't cost me too much to go and was on a weekend or something when I was off anyways, I would go. But if I had to take off work and travel a long way then I would NOT probably go as it would be to costly. Great ideal.

I would go if it was in the US. I think it would be good to have Mylot conventions in each of the countries represented on Mylot. That would be cool.

I guess it would depend on who was all going ya know...I mean if it was all ppl that I dont know from here or havent chatted with then i doubt I would but if ppl I talk to regularly were goin sure Id show up! That would be pretty cool really :-D

and for the record I think a MyLot convention in Las Vegas would be spectacular :-D Group rates, something for everyone, cheap....and I need a good reason to go to Vegas LOL

Maybe if I had some friendships here and I needed something fun to do on a night when I wasn't busy I may consider it. But I don't think I am into it enough to really get anything out of a convention to be honest, especially now with my time on MyLot so limited. However, it would be a neat idea if approached the right way.

Oh yes in a heart beat I would as long as I could afford to go that is. We're paying over 5.00 a gallon for gas right now. I don't know how people will be able to make it pretty soon. If it wasn't for the expense I would have to say I would definately attend a MyLot convention, I
have all great people on my friends list and would I ever love to meet as many as possible. I Love your ideas.

I would love to! The only problem is that because this is a global community this could involve a lot of travel and expense. Having said that I would make every effort to get to a convention if I could afford to at the time it was held! It would be so interesting to put a real persons character beside the image you have of your mylot friends and see if you had the right idea about them, we would probably all b shy when we actually met face to face! xxx

yes i definitely would.. i want to see these people here in mylot personally and thank some of them who have been very helpful.. the thought of it is really exciting..hehehe thinking that it could happen.. that would be meeting a lot of people with different personalities, races and cultures, that would be lovely amazing.. i wish that this could happen.. i would really love to attend.. but hope if this could come true, expenses wopuld be shouldered by mylot!!hehehe kidding.. but really this idea is just fantastic!:)

If there`s a convention of mylot i will go it depend upon the reception area. If it is close enough to my place i can go but if its far i cant.

i started a "mylottians reunion" topic months ago. but i am not feeling bad about you starting this one. you obviously did not copy my idea. things like this happen. hehe. and i, too got lots of responses and was surprised that there are lots of mylottians who wanna atleast meet up.
i always wonder the people behind the words, the thoughts, the ideas and the avatars. and it's a great opportunity if one day, there will be a myLot convention. isn't it amazing? one day we get to see each other eye to eye... talk about myLot and share smiles? i hope one day, a convention will be organized and yup... i wanna go!

It would depend on the location of such an even, on whether I would be going or not. If it was close by than I would go, but if it was a long ways away from me than there is a lesser chance of me being able to go to it.
Although I do think a MyLot convention is a great idea. Would give us all a chance to met the many that we talk to just about on a daily basis on here.

If the convention was a reasonable distance from me I would definitely go. I think it would be fun to meet the people we have been talking to here. There probably could even maybe have a couple of different places so it would be more available for people to go who can't travel long distances. This idea has been brought up before and everyone is all for it. So we shall she what comes of it. I am for it also with excitement.

I would most definitely go. I think it would be fun and quite interesting. It would be in a public place with everyone together, so it would most likely be a safe thing :)
