wow! this is amazing! i think the representative of japan was really amazing because she beat the other veteran countries who seemed more likely to win the miss universe pageant. :) imagine, she beat brazil, venezuela,and usa!
well, i also thought that miss korea was also pretty, but she didnt win the miss universe crown though. i think she was the second runner up. :) well, congratulations to japan for winning the miss universe pageant! :)

Hooray for Japan! I don't follow beauty pageants but I'm happy that a woman from Japan won. I think Japanese girls are so cute and beautiful, they are some of the most beautiful in the world! ( According to my tastes anyway ^^; )

yeah, banzaii for japanese people! :) they must be really proud of their representative. :)
i agree with you too, there are a lot of japanese girls who are cute, but you know what, to be more general, a lot of asian beauties are really gorgeous and beautiful. :)

My favorite was Miss Korea. She was indeed 'beauty and brains' for me but she just came in 3rd runner up after all. At least an asian girl, in the person of Miss Japan Riyo Mori, beat them all. hai..arigatu...
Congratulations too to our Miss Philippines Anna Theresa Licaros for winning the Most Photogenic and to Miss China as Miss Congeniality.

yeah, i agree. miss korea was really pretty. :) in my opinion, she was a whole lot prettier than miss japan, but anyway, they were all pretty, and i congratulate miss japan for bagging the miss universe title. :)

yes, you're welcome my friend. i was kinda disappointed because i wasnt able to watch the whole show. when i turned the tv on, the hosts were already announcing the winners. well, at least i got to watch the most important part of the show. lolz. :P

hmm, actually, in my opinion, she is really not as beautiful as miss korea but i think there is something in her which made her win. i think she is really witty and smart and graceful. she can handle herself well even under pressure. and just a fact: she is a ballet teacher. :)

i really dont know how many times japan has already won the miss universe pageant. if im not mistaken, i think this is the first time. if someone who is reading this discussion would like to correct me, please feel free to do so. :)

yeah, you have a point there too, miss brazil was really a pretty lass. :) however, i think the judges also made a good decision in choosing and hailing miss japan as the miss universe for this year. and besides, it is also a fresh choice from the usual brazil, venezuela, mexico, india, usa types of miss universe winners. lolz. :) for once, it is an asian. :)
