The Labradoodle is a result from breeding a Labrador Retriever with a Standard Poodle. This type of dog allows people who have mild allergy to own a dog since it sheds very little. I've read that Labradoodles ranked in the fifth place for their intelligent. The problem is the price, now that they becoming so popular, most breeders want thousand for one. If you want to have one, search the web carefully. I found one for a very decent price.

They are two breeds bred together to form a mutt. They are supposed to be trendy, but how long will that last ?, until they make another form of mutt.

I think they are popular because the name is cute. They were always considered mutts until a guy came up with the catchy name. Some of them have some hypo allergenic qualities. Remember I said some of them. Some of them have the retriever hair which still contains allergens.
