I truly feel that it largely depends on your end goal in life. If, for instance, you're planning to be a doctor someday, naturally the college course that you should take must be one that is medically related perhaps like biology, nursing, pharmacy, and the like to prepare you for your medical degree. If you want to become a lawyer someday, perhaps political science, philosophy, or communication arts, among others would be the best pre-law course to take to be able to prepare you for your law degree. In essence, thus, choosing the best college course depends on what you want to achieve in the future or the career path that you want to travel in life. So, in response to your question, there is, to my mind, really no single best college course, but a wide array of best college courses for every particular field of endeavor one wants to embark on.
