Power cut had been unavoidable in India. There are 2 stages power cut, one is implemented by government with advise to consumers for maintenance work and the second one is, without any reason power get cuts. This is very common here. If we telephone the power station answer is not reasonable.Everyone puts the blame on someone ,and finally who gets affected by this is none other than the consumers only. This is my country's position. What about your country?Do you have helpline provided to register complaint ? Do you face power cuts frequently?

Yes you are right. The whole lot of india is facing power cut.It is worse in our state.Even though Mumbai don't have power cuts but its neghbouring areas do have & it is anywhere between 4-12 hours daily. It is really sad that the government is unavle to provide us the basic needs like power.I don't think there is this type of situation anywhere.

Same position here in Delhi...in the summer...we do face power cuts for hours....we use our invertors to get the life going....we cannot do anything...except complaining and getting a ready-made answer....the problem is being looked into.

Hi, I hope those Britishers could have done better than the present situation of power supply. Still there was another area the telephone service which was upgraded and the market was more with private telephone parties like BPL, Airtel, Hutch, Ideas so on finally BSNL was forced to give a better service to get it customers. So my opinion is that more private parties should come forward with better inventions and options if only the government could give better service. Even now certain hotels in our area are mostly using solar panels from private companies products for their power. Even though there are some limitations in solar power supply. Unless more of private competitors are raised hope a better service on this matter would be far away.
