Had any bad experiences with LBC?

I got a package from my friend from Davao through Bookmooch.com and had it sent through LBC. The problem was she wrote the correct address but the LBC attendant at the front desk made a mistake with the receipt.
Whatever reason they poke in, I still believed that LBC had fusses about the delivery - they were even grumpy when I signed the receipt saying that I received the redelivered book. I just signed the receipt to end the conversation.
You? Did you have any bad experiences with LBC Delivery?
It took me a week before I received the package.
Talk about 24-hour service.

Hello! Good thing that you received your package. I sent 2 mails via LBC. First package had books, pens & other office supplies. Second mail that I sent was with an iPod Touch. Only the first mail was received and the one with the iPod touch was lost. I was so desperate calling a lot of branches just to retrieve my mail, yet, they always but to no avail. I sent email to their customer care to ask for the refund according to my declared value which is 20,000. Two days after that, I was impressed because they said they will send the check after two days... Sad to say, until now, I have not receive even a single peso from them. Therefore I can say that they are just good in receiving the payment of people. But when it comes to their responsibilities and liabilities of a lost package? They are terrible!!!!!!!!

My sister sent me a PSP component and I haven't received it because I'm at work. I verified the said package in the nearest LBC branch. Their only track of the package was the origin. I made them call the HUB because I know that's where all the undelivered packages went. But I received the same response. I made my sister verify to the LBC branch where they sent the package. And the package was lost forever. The office can't tell where it went. I'll sue them.

had a bad experience with LBC recently,just this december, tried to send a package to cabanatuan. the contents were a gift certificate(php5,000) and 2 pages of duly signed acknowledgment receipts. the recipient never received it, so after 2 days (we made a little allowance since it was close to the holiday rush) we felt it was time to inquire about the shipment. turn out they could not track the shipment. it was negative at the destination and it just mysteriously "disappeared". wrote a formal complaint, and got a reply stating that they could not do anything because i did not declare the shipment properly, meaning i had to be specific about the content of the package. dapat daw hindi dox ang nilagay. maybe i was a dimwit for just declaring it simply as "dox". well forgive me for relaying on their service and honesty. i had made this same "mistake" (as LBC would like to point out) before with DHL, pero never pong nawala ang shipment namin.
what pisses me about the whole thing is, hindi man lang nag apologize ung rep ng LBC, basta sinabi lang na hindi makita ung shipment, tapos. ako pa ang sinisi dahil hindi ko dineclare mabuti. they simply refuse to take responsibility for their negligence. imposible po kasi na hindi nila ma-trace ung shipment. ayaw talaga nilang i-trace kasi, ayaw nilang aminin na pinag-interesan ng mga employee nila ung GC. shame on you!
another thing is ung rep nila na tumanggap ng package ko sa LBC branch, hindi man lang ako tinawagan for update regarding the situation during the time na naghihintay ako ng feedback from them. they asked for my contact number, but i never got a call, i had to go to the branch myself para makakuha ng feedback. sobrang inconvenience po kasi naka duty po ako sa work during that time. sana kung alam ko na ganito ang mangyayari, sa ordinary mail ko na lang pinadala. kaya nga po ako nagbabayad ng extra para sa service nila, tapos po ganito lang magiging resulta.
SA MGA TAGA LBC, palitan na ang inyong tagline, instead na hari ng padala, dapat HARI NG SABLAY!

I am working in UAE and had sent a package to my home in Manila thru LBC. 2 months have passed the package has still not reached my family so I checked online. It was only then that I learned that my package was in their Caloocan warehouse for more than a month. When I called their Dubai office, I was simply told that it was not delivered since I gave an incomplete address. They said they could not call the consignee because the phone number is not in their system. No effort was also made to contact me and update me of my shipment. 1 week after my call still there was no delivery, when my sister contacted LBC Manila, they said we have to pay 360PHP since it is another transaction.
Ang kapal ng mga mukha para singilin ako eh sila itong walang effort na ginawa para tawagan ako to inform the situation tapos kapalpakan nila na di nailagay sa system yung phone # ng kapatid ko. There was no apology, no means of trying to settle the matter, ang lumalabas pa kasalanan ko kasi incomplete yung address ko. Well what about their incompetence and negligence? Ang pangit ng customer service. Tama nga yung sabi ng nauna... Hari ng Sablay at Sakit ng Ulo ang LBC.
