Your own concept of heaven and hell

When I was a kid, this used to be the issue amongst us cousins because we feared that when we do things not accordingly, we would be sent off to hell. Even the littlest of wrong things made us tremble. Now that I've grown up from that fear, I still believe the concept exists because I firmly think that people are categorized according to their deeds done when they were still living. My concept of heaven is a white place with fluffy clouds, a golden gate before the exact kingdom and a barrier that keeps sinners from entering unless they regret what they've done. My concept of hell is of course the opposite: flames of fire shooting from the ground, a lava river flowing endlessly and hideous guardians that keep an eye on you. Anyway, these are just fictitious. What do you have in mind when heaven and hell is mentioned?

Well, when I was a kid, i used to believe that also. Good people go to heaven and bad don't. I thought that the more good deeds you do, the more you get to heaven. But during my growing up years, and through my Bible reading, I learned that heaven and hell are not fiction at all. It is true and a serious matter. Heaven is where God lives and a really wonderful place to be. But only a personal relationship with Jesus Christ can get us to heaven and saves us from the torments of hell.

I was really awestrucked by your answer. Thanks for sharing that from your opinion. Yeah, only the ones who have close relationship with God would be the ones to enter His Kingdom. Thanks for sharing your answer! It's the one that has convinced me!
