I have set a goal that I am going to pay off my $72,900 worth of debt by April 2009 by making money online. I have made $1,500 so far this month, but I have a LONG way to go to meet my goal. You are welcome to check out what programs I use and how my debt payoff progression is going on my blog here- http://achieve-financial-independence.blogspot.com/

If you have really made $1,500 so far this month - and I mean have been paid it into your bank account rather than seeing some notional payout on a website - then you are doing better than most.
In two years on the Internet (and in other forms of business) a lot of changes may happen. Make sure that all your investments are in real products that somebody (including you) needs on a day-to-day basis. Make sure that you believe in what you are selling and that you don't rely too much on other people's efforts to sell it for you - MLM schemes look very attractive and sometimes match up to their claims for a few months but tend to drop off.
If possible, try to write a business plan that you are happy to discuss with your bank. It is one thing to have a plan in your mind. It is quite another to have a plan that you can show to someone else convincingly!
$73,000 is a substantial 'extra' to expect to pay off in two years. It is a good idea to consolidate your loan at a beneficial rate of interest based on a plan which you can review from time to time with the lender. Regard them as a friend - it is in their interest as well as yours that the loan is paid off on time. Be prepared to discuss the probabilities and alternatives with them. Your commitment to paying off the loan is very important and your realism and business sense will inspire confidence.
Just now you may see $73,000 as a millstone round your neck. In two years time you may want to convince someone that 10 times that amount is a worthy investment in your business. Who better than the the person you just cleared one debt successfully with?
