Disaster at the community pool

We spent the day at the community pool yesterday. It was a beautiful day...the wife was off work, the kids were frolicking in the cool waters, and I was sleeping off a Memorial Day BBQ hangover....the serenity was shattered though by a number of screams and people fleeing from the pool as they were being chased by an unwrapped snickers bar (imagine what that looks like and you'll understand what was actually happening)....of course now the pool has to be contaminated and is closed for 2 days...this happens every year which is why I think the kids should be kept in the kids pool and out of the adult pool...anyone else ever had this happen to them?

That is so disgusting. So the day was ruined for all because of one little kid whose parents didn't keep him in the kids pool. You know, I get email alerts from various health agencies, and most swimming pool water is loaded with ecoli, despite the chlorine! One of the biggest offenders is the babies in the diapers that are made for swimming. Also, just from 'cling ons' and things from adults as well!

LMAO OMG that's terrible, hahahaha. GROSS. Anyways, um that's never happened, but I remember being at the beach one year with a girl and she said she let a snickers loose in the ocean. OMG how gross is that?

I never have been somewhere with this experience, but I am sure it was not a pleasant one. Just goes to show it sounds like there needs to be a little more supervision and watch to make sure Candy bars are not taken anywhere near the pool area from now on.

LOL. I never had that happen to me in a public pool.
But I remember when I was a kid, we were on the beach lying idly on a raft when there's some sort of commotion from other rafts. They saw something floating in the water.
Whether it's a snickers bar or the real thing, I wouldn't know because I got out of the water as fast as I could. LOL.

This happened just last week, my youngest granddaughter was the culprit. Fortunately it was in our little kiddie pool at home, but still the other kids freaked out and it ended the day's swimming.
