Health care costs

How many of you are living without insurance because the premiums are just too high? With it being in the focal point for politicians and everyone else struggling to find a way to change the system where would you suggest they start. I personally think that putting a cap on what they can charge per item would be start. A friend of mine was recently hospitalized and they charged $5.00 for tylenol. That borders on absurity. Not only that but she had a breast removed because of cancer and they wanted her to do it outpatient....no overnight stay. With the insurance companies raking in record profits I would say that there is definately something wrong with this picture. How about you?
