what a difference a change in hairstyle makes!

i have naturally wavy hair and i had to tie it at the nape with a clip to keep it neat and tidy. now, it got to a point where i got tired of this hairstyle which i have sported for the past 4 years, i decided to have it straightened or more precisely, rebonded. a bit pricey, yes, but it's worth it coz whereas before, when i ride a cab, the driver would address me as ma'm or madam, now they call me "day" which is our dialect for miss or young miss. he, he! talk about being vain, huh?

yeah! I also had mine rebonded two years ago. And when I got tired of it, i had it permed. It really makes a big difference. It's good to try out something good every once in a while. Vanity is costly though. hehe

Hehe! That is a lot of difference, isn't it? I cut all my hair off last year. It went from being almost all the way down my back to just a couple of inches long, and now I've grown it out to where it just touches the bottoms of my ears. I really like it at this length, because it's not itchy on my neck and it's easy to take care of. I've noticed that people think I'm a lot more approachable since I don't really wear my hair in my face so much. And it actually makes me look more my age: I'm 26 and with long hair was still getting asked what high school I went to. That's sounds like a nice problem to have, but it also made my customers at the bank seem not to have much faith in me.

What exactly is rebonding by the way? I have really curly hair, and when I was younger I tried a lot of different ways to straighten it, but none of them worked. I've never heard of rebonding though.

i'm really curious about your short hairstyle. wish i could see it. nywy, rebonding is maybe a procedure or just a term that is use in the philippines where lawsuits against hairdressers are practically nil. i mean, with all the stretching and ironing and stretching again that is done to your hair, chances are, you'll get damaged hair. initially, though, the effect is very nice, all straight and shiny but give it a year, the hair starts to get brittle. now, you must be wondering wgy i still ahead with it knowing the hazards, huh? well, as i said, it's all in the name of vanity..... lol!

good for you for taking that change in your hair..for me i cut my hair when i want some change in my life, a new look for a new outlook in life, who is that for a rhyme?hehe. I have a straight hair and my husband wants it so long but i rather find it boring and i want to have a short hair for a change and maybe some highlights into it...but he said no to it...i am in the middle of persuading him to agree with me..and i think im winning.

sometimes a change of hairstyle once in a while is good! i like to change my hairstyle from time to time because i always get bored of having the same hairstyle all the time. i bet you must look prettier and younger with rebonded hair! i used to have straight hair for a long time, then i got bored with it and got it permed last year ^_^ ..i have long hair, and it seems that the trend now is to get a bob haircut? i'd love to but i don't have the guts! .

Wow good for you. I also have an officemate who have a new haircut like that of Hale Berry and she definitely look great on it. Well for me, I also have experiences of changing my hairstyles and it's a great feeling that I am sometimes identified as a student because everytime I give my fare to the jeepney drivers, they'll charge me as one of them! LOL! ;)
