Do You Believe In Destiny?

Are two people really destined for each other? Have you experienced this scenario that when you first met the person destined for you, you're gonna knew it by instinct? Or is a product of our creative minds?
Many say that you will meet the right person when you LEAST expect it. Anyone of you can share experiences regarding the topic? Do you believe in destiny? Or is it us who makes our own destiny?

Wow, this is a hard one. If you guys don't mind, let me ask you this:
What really is DESTINY?
Let us define this word. Now, according to the dictionary, it is "something that is to happen or has happened to a particular person or thing", "usually inevitable or irresistible, course of events" or "the power or agency that determines the course of events", just to mention a few.
Having said that, destiny really exists. Somewhere down that long, straight road you will eventually come to a point where two roads meet. And that is where perhaps two people (strangers maybe) will find each other. Is is destined? After some sharp curves, crossroads, U-turns in life, you might find that road end to your heart, if you know what I am trying to say. When that point in your life comes, then you should grab it by its tail. Something that great might never come again that soon.

I agree with you. in love, there is someone who is destined for you... i'm one of the believers of destiny :D
but to some, destiny is a matter of making plans out of your life, and not letting others, or other supernatural being control your life. sometimes, we don't have to let things happen.. instead, decide on what our destiny should be...

Yes i tryly believe in destiny.Actually in life we meet people with whom we are destined to meet.sometimes after meeting a complete stanger we feel like we have known them for years.This is just destiny.It has happened with me many times.Life offers you many surprises & it is destiny which have role in it.But one has to work hard in life.

Destiny is matter of CHOICE not by CHANCE.It is a chance that you two meet and a CHOICE for you to make that person your own destiny. Life is quite mysterious sometimes. We tend to think that every person we meet are by accidents but i think we meet and became part of their lives because it has been destined to us and it is our own choice to stay that way. It's quite true that we meet the right person when we LEAST expect it but it is truly US who makes our own DESTINY. ^_*

Yes.. but others say that God has planned your own destiny and that you make your own choice ACCORDING to what the Lord has planned for you...

I believe God has a plan, and the plan will go just the way He wants it. I also believe He made us responsible for our own moral choices, such that if we choose evil or good, the appropriate consequences will flow out of that. Sometimes it seems hard to imagine how those two things could go together. But God is greater than our imagination, and despite our many moral dilemmas, His plan remains the hidden "axel of the universe," as Spurgeon called it, and that is what really gives us hope for a meaningful progression of the story of life.
