I like Acorn Squash, my aunt gave me that recipe, You take the Sqash cutit in half. take out seeds. and put brown sugar and butter in it. wrap both half with foil, and bake for about, 1 hour. It is so good, Have you ever had that before?

My Aunt is a good cook, she is 93 years old. I learned my cooking from her. and that is one of the dishes I learned how to make. in the fall is when I make it. you can make it anytime you want.

if you cut the spaghetti squash up before cooking: It cooks faster.Just get in there and cut it in half (lengthwise) or quarters. You don’t want to cut it up too small unless you want short strands. Scrape out the seeds and pulp as you would with any squash or pumpkin.
Bake rind side up about 30-40 minutes at 375 F.
Microwave 6-8 minutes (let stand for a few minutes afterwards)
Boil 20 minutes or so.Separate strands by running a fork through in the “from stem to stern” direction.

Sometimes I like to cook spaghetti squash long as that is why it's called so you simply get a scooper to scoop out the squash ..it comes out in long strands of spaghetti..
I will try your recipe as I never heard of this recipe ..thanks so much for sharing;)+

hiya! ohh someone after my won heart! I love squash! i have lots of recipes ..ill share a couple if u dont mind..the first one is...
Squash Puff Balls..
INGREDIENTS
1 quart oil for frying
4 summer squash, cut into chunks.
1 medium onion, grated
2 eggs, beaten
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
2/3 cup dry corn muffin mix
2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
DIRECTIONS
Heat the oil in a deep, heavy skillet or deep fryer to 365 degrees F (185 degrees C).
Place the squash in a pot with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil, and cook 10 minutes, or until tender. Drain, and mash.
In a bowl, mix 2 cups squash*, onion, and eggs. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, corn muffin mix, baking powder, and salt. Thoroughly blend the squash mixture into the flour mixture.
Drop the squash and flour mixture by rounded tablespoons into the hot oil, and fry until evenly brown and crisp. Drain on paper towels.
Oh my goodness. Made these last night and my boyfriend and I couldn't stop eating them as they came out of the frying pan. I chopped my onion and boiled it with the squash for 10 minutes. Used self-rising flour so I left out the salt and baking powder. These were to die for and I'm already trying to decide what I can do next time to give them a little "kick." You will not be disappointed with this recipe.
And then there is this one..ohh myy i loved it! lol..
Squash and Coconut Milk Stew
INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon butter
1 (1 inch) piece fresh ginger, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 small onion, chopped
1 acorn squash, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
1 (14 ounce) can coconut milk
8 ounces green beans, cut into 3-inch pieces
8 ounces cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 (14 ounce) package extra-firm tofu, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons white sugar
DIRECTIONS
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ginger, garlic, and onion. Cook until garlic begins to brown, about 5 min.
Add squash, coconut milk, and green beans to skillet. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to medium, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes until squash is tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in shrimp and tofu, then season to taste with salt, pepper, and sugar.
