Many people despise the advances of modern technology. I embrace them! With the invention of video and digital recorders, we can now keep a record of things as they occur. This way there will be no doubt by later generations as to what actually happened. History will become more accurate, informative, vivid and alive! Adolf Hitler once said, "History is as old as my Grandfather." Thanks to the miracle of modern technology, that is no longer true, this will prevent history from repeating itself.

Modern technology will help us have an accurate account of history but it won't stop history from repeating itself. The only way to make sure history doesn't repeat itself is for everyone to study history. And not everyone does it. Especially in The States.

Yes, that is true. Unfortunately, most people don't study history. It has always been an interest of mine. I have become really interested in paying attention to what my government is doing. In the U.S. we have a website where you can see our leaders (both state and federal governments are working on) and you can also use the site to contact your representatives, it is: www.congress.org. I also get petitions from an organization called care2. I try to add comments when I sign the petitions that interest me and point out historical facts that are relevent to the issue.

Yeah, I thought about that. I am hopeful that others will think about that and transfer the images from the old media to the new media whenever a new technology comes out.

Both in private and in government, there are agencies which records all changes that are taking place in the presdent day world. This includes films made in micro fish camera, cds, information and images stores in computers etc. books and other documentaries.
