Stop cruising too fast and appreciate the little things in life..

I heard a short story on the radio this morning and i found it very inspiring so i thought i'd share it with you..It goes something like this: A young man was driving his new BMW to work and he was speeding fast when suddenly a small stone hit the side of his car. He stopped, got out of the car angry and searched for the culprit who threw the stone from out of nowhere. He then saw the little girl who did it and walked towards her fuming. When he approached the girl, she was crying and said "Sir, please help my lift up my brother. He's paralyzed and fell out of his wheelchair, please help me lift him up,he's much too strong for me." When he turned to where the girl was pointing, he saw the young boy and without a word, walked toward him and helped him up to his wheelchair. The little girl thanked him and then proceeded to push his brother's wheelchair home. When the young man came back to his car and stare at the dent made by the stone, he just smiled and realized that he has been cruising past his life too fast, and it had to take a stone thrown at him for him to realize that sometimes he has to slow down and appreciate life. He never fixed the dent in his car to remind him of this every day.

Yes I agree sometimes we look ahead too much that we dont see the blessings that is already beside us. We just have to enjot lifes little pleasure... take a walf for a while and be thankful...we have the chance to see another morning.

I have read this one before. But we all need a reminder once in awhile to slow down and appreciate the small things in life.
