Does AOL offer free domain names?

I have read in a discussion started by my friend inallduetime here on mylot that AOL is providing free web hosting with your own domain name. She is not sure of that since she is not an AOL member. I will have to check this link that my friend gave: Domains.AOL.com I am an AOL member and I would like to know if any one of you have their own domain name with AOL for free. Thank you for your time and your answer.

I am on AOL but I have not heard of this before to be honest so I really do not know I will check it to and see what it says

I would be interested to know b/c if it is true, I will try AOL again, maybe. I had so many problems with AOL I just ran out of patience. But, if it is giving out free domains wel....

Well we will have to investigate this because it's really interesting if they do give free domain names. Thanks both of you for your answers.
