summer travel

Anyone have any big travel plans for the summer? My 15 year old son just got his first job, so with the way he works, we won't be able to take a vacation this summer.

We are planning a lot of little trips- Camping several times- to different campsites with different people each time- Possibly a visit down to my brothers family- in Kansas (he is in Iraq)- he usually makes the trip up to NY in the summer. More than likely will fly there- I only have 2 more weeks of vacation left - so that just might be it- My 10 yr old daughter wants to go to Disney this summer- Maybe next year I told her!

Alas! i do not get summer vaccations any more. I am doing PhD so I do not get any vaccations.

We are just getting ready to move 7 hours away the first week of July. so with all the driving back and forth until then with four children I can't see us wanting to go to far, We are moving to beautiful cape Breton so we will probably check out the cabot trail, something we have never done before, I hear it is beautiful and has great camping and beaches.

We have reservations at a beach house from 24 june to 1 july and again from july 8-15. That's pretty much it for us. Not too exciting but it's a good time although there isnt any internet so i'll be without mylot those days, booohooo
