What is the best brand of laptop??

I was thinking of buying a new laptop but I really don't know what is the best one to choose. can you please help me on choosing, I want a brand that will last long and offers great features.

IBM/Lenovo Thinkpads.
I have a 600E. It has been to India, Uganda, St. Martin, and France. It's been dropped, fallen upon, and stuck underneath luggage in the back of an autorickshaw, yet it still works as well as the day I got it. They're nigh indestructible.
If for looks, then a Vaio.
Macs are different breed entirely, since of course there is only one manufacturer and they're generally styled the same. But they are definitely good machines.

i think LENOVO is the best brand of laptop because my bro had bro had bought one 5 years back and it is giving a superb service.
