Do you live in a joint family or a necular family. What are the views that you hold on this? I live in a necular family but think living in the joint family plays more important role in our life to make us able to cope up with the situations faster.

It's true that living in a joint family will help you deal with a lot of problems better. There will always be people who will be around to help you with everything. If you have good family members in your joint family, you can go to work for example without having to worry about who's looking after the kids. In my opinion though, I think a nuclear family is still better. Although you would have to worry about everything by yourselves, you also have a last say about everything. THis is especially crucial when you have to raise kids. You want to raise them your own way and not the way the elders tell you to. I am thankful for my very supportive joint family but I would love to be in your place. I want to be able to live my life the way I want to, do whatever I want in the house and raise my baby the way I think best.
