Do Know It All's Bother You

Does it bother you when you are having a discussion and a know it all butts in? I realize there are some people that are brilliant and they probably do know a lot about a multitude of things. However there are times when you might be having a discussion with a co-worker or a friend and someone butts in with their two cents. Or some other senario. Do you know a know it all and do they bother you?

Yes they bother me! I think everyone has someone like this in their life, and it's annoying! I also hate when you are telling a problem to someone, and they always come back with something worse. For example: if you are telling someone that you are so tired because you only got 5 hours of sleep, they'll be like, "I only got 4 and a half." I think you know what I am talking about. It is so annoying!

AHH Yes, I think we all know people like that. As a matter of fact I was reading a discussion here and there was a lady with a problem and another lady came along and had one 10 times worse. Those people annoy the heck out of me too.

Yes it bothers me when I get cut off. My daughter does it all the time (for the last 18 years) moreso as she got older. I kinda got used to it through the years. When I am at work and someone does it I just walk away and try to finish the discussion later. Since I joined myLot I will tell some who buts in to join myLot if they want .02 cents for their thoughts. lol

Many times the thing that annoys us the most about someone is something that we do ourselves.

Yes I really hate that... Especially if I find out the the 'know it all' really dosen't know anything about the subject at all.

I hate "know it all" people...they just gets in my nerves...its like they know everything but the truth is, some of what they are talking are just out of topic or the person they are talking to doesnt have any clue about anything and makes them feel so dumb or something like that....they are just a bunch of trying hard people and who wants to get attention from other people.

My father is a know it all. Any time I might be explaining something to someone he will jump in that I am wrong and tell them the way that he thinks something should be done. It annoys me to no end. What really irks me is that he is almost always wrong about the information he is trying to give in place of the information I give. I can even show him that he is wrong about something and he will still argue about it.

Yes! Drives me nuts! If you have an answer for what I'm discussing, fine, but wait for a break in the conversation. And I wish these people would have something to back up their points instead of just saying "well, such and such isn't good for you". Ugh!

Yes they usually always just butt in. So they can be very rude too. As well as annoying to everyone around them.
