It seems like NY is out of butterflys. I have 2 toddlers that I would like to see some butterflys...does anyone know a way to atract them or any flowers as well? Thanks. When I was little they were everywhere! Now they are nowhere to be found!

I would love to have a butterfly garden too. It's so pretty. But I'm afraid my cats would attack the butterflies. So I hope you grow an extra special one for me too!

I'll give you a link to a gardener's resource: http://www.gardenersnet.com/birds/butterflies.htm and I hope that NY's lack of butterflies isn't related to the lack of wild honeybees that being reported here in the East... Good luck and have a great day! :)

Seedums, coneflowers, daisies, and any flower that is red, yellow and or orange attracts butterflies.
