Do you reallly believe what you have heard about 9-11?

I was at a talk for architects and engineers last night. It was hosted by an architect from California called Richard Gage who has designed at least 4 buildings like the world Trade Center Towers, and he attempted to prove that the buildings came down in a controlled demolition and that the fires from the jet fuel were starting to burn out already when the buildings fell down.
Apparently almost 50% (48%) of New Yorkers don't believe the 9-11 commission report put out by the government. Just wondering what you all think.

Where did you get that stat of 50%? I don't believe that at all. Or maybe they don't believe something about the 9/11 report's details, not necessarily that 9/11 was a giant conspiracy (which it wasn't).

I got that stat from a magazine article (I think it was Newsweek). You might want to check up on various sites online to get information on it. It doesn't add up. They say that fire brought down the buildings, and yet the fire was starting to go out before the buildings fell. The architect that I saw said that a building damaged by fire should fall in the direction of the damage. Ie-ie should have toppled over on one side where the fire weakened it, but instead it came down from the top in a perfectly straight line. What was that all about? Yeah, and shady "engineers" and architects on unreliable internet sites are familiar with the results of a jet liner crashing into two of the largest buildings in the country?

My husband is one of those "shady" engineers, and so is my father actually (retired) and both of them are shocked that the public is believing all this. The government WANTS you to think it's "just a conspiracy" and that no one will then take it seriously.
