Are there any songs that everyone just loves... but you can't stand?

I know, being a good Republican and Gulf War Vet, I'm supposed to love "God Bless the U.S.A." by Lee Greenwood, and I probably liked it at some point, but man that song grates on my Red, White and Blue nerves! I like a lot of what Avril Lavigne sings, but this new song, "Girlfriend" just plain sucks! and it's #1? The song "Imagine" by John Lennon... I can't get to the radio dial fast enough! UGH! I'm not asking about whole genres, I mean, we all have our likes and dislikes, but from the kinds of music you normally enjoy, are there any songs that just make you want to rip your own eardrums out?
