Mother and Child - A mother's love??

I heard in the news yesterday about a mother from Texas who hangs her children before killing herself. The children were 5 year old, 3 year old and 8 month old. According to the news only the 8 month old child survived. I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing that the child survived. Apparently the mother was a battered wife and she must have killed her children in order to get back to her husband. I know we owe our lives to our mothers but i believe no one has the right to take someone else's life no matter what the reason exept maybe for self defense. My question is if you were the child would you prefer to know what happened when you grow up or not?

That's pretty damn horrible to know. What kind of mother is she to hang her kids before killing herself. Why is it that she even go along with her kids and that's awful. If i'm the kid who survived from the instance, i think it is still my right to know my past, how did i get in here. Though i wont really that diggin off but what i mean is just even a hint on that. It has been my life story...

Yes it's everyones right to know his origins but with that scenario it could either make or break the child's life. I just hope whoever would eventually raise him would give him enough love and support far more than what his biological mother did.

I heard this on the news. It was really disturbing. I think it's a good thing the baby survived because from what I gather, she did hang the baby, the baby got loose somehow. Whatever the case is, it's sad. The lady was sick in the head and selfish. The kids didn't deserve this. I don't know, if telling the survivor witch in this case is an 8 month old baby about his siblings and the mother. That might cause more problems. Of course right now, the baby doesn't understand. It's a hard situation. But I think it should be left alone, whoever will end up raising this child should just leave it alone.

Well thankfully the child was only 8 months old and he probably was unaware of what happened. When he grows up I guess it would be up to his foster family to decide. Everyone does have the right to know his roots whether it's good or bad. But how far? I don't know.
