you have to reach 100 posts to get your star. Then your number is based on other members ratings of you. I'll rate you a + right now to get your future stars rating bumped up ;P

just get hold of your patience for a little longer, because you just need 10 more posts before you get yourself a star and a number. You have to reach the 100th post before mylot awards you with one, and dont worry, by that time, you'll see the rewards or the fruit of your efforts in posting meaningful discussions and contributing.

Thanks to everyone who encouraged me. I have many ideas in my head for posts. The problem is I do not have time to be at MYLOT everyday.What I should do, I guess is allot a half hour or more each day just to post one or two items. I have tried to do that but then I promptly forgot about doing it!

It shouldn't be long before you get a star rating here on Mylot. Once you hit 100 posts, it should show up automatically. I guess you have to earn a good reputation as well, but I don't think that matters. You should get a rating after you've reached 100 posts. When I've reached 100, it wasn't long before I got a star rating. It even jumped up from 8 to 9 in a couple of hours. Just give it some time and you will see something next to your name. Good luck!

You are nearly there, just 5 more posts to reach your 100th post and you will find your star. Once you get that you will want to reach 500 as that is a milestone as it allows you to copy and paste. You should reach 100 today just find a few discussions to joio.
