I'm just doing a little survey just for myself and if I get enough participants, I plan on posting the results in my journal here. I'm going for 100 people to answer, so 400 answers. I'll just cut to the chase now: 1. Are you for or against gay rights? 2. Why? 3. How old are you? 4. What is your religion? Thanks a lot for your help!

1) For. 2) Because we proclaim that all men are equal, but then decide FOR them whether or not they are AS equal as we are (does that make sense?) Take marriage for example. Why should gay's be denied the right to proclaim their love to each other and have it recognized by the government? it hurts NO ONE, and helps them to have the rights and benefits that heterosexual couples have. even "common law" heterosexual couples get most of the marriage benefits, and they arent even legally married. yet we deny homosexual's marriage..and then deny them common law benefits also. that is NOT fair in any way shape or form. a lot of ppl say that being homosexual is "against god" (or whatever) but what does god have to do with the government?? NOTHING. 3) i am 32 years old. 4)Agnostic hope you get the number of responses you need!
