Did you ever almost trip over something, looked back and nothing was there?

And a whole lot of people are staring at you like you were crazy? How do you recover from that? Bow your head embarassed and quickly exit the locality? Laugh and shake your head and go on your way? :-)

if ever this will happen to you again, do not feel horrible nor embarrassed. there are some things which happen to us sometimes which is beyond our control. tripping over nothing is among these things. this has something to do with our nervous system havng lapses of its own. our body systems are not at all times 100% functional. this is the reason why we see others who are so clumsy. they cannot hold on to some of their things without something falling. you must have noticed this in some people before. pity them and extend help when you can.

this has happened to me a number of times already. there were even two occasions when i fell right at the middle of the road. i was lucky there were no vehicles around when it happened. people were looking at me, sizing up whether i need some help or not. but before anyone had managed to reach me, i was able to get up on my feet again. this is a common thing for me. i have this problem about losing some strength in my knees once in a while. when i feel that it will be on for a while, i will call for help upon whoever is on sight. i am happy that in my country, there will always be some people around who are willing to give a helping hand whenever needed by someone in distress.

I would ask them what are they staring at, also mentioning that it's very rude to do so and whatever reason doesn't make it right to do so. Then I polite exit, unless it continued. Sure I would even laugh, but normally if you question them they move along or look away. Kudos, ~Joey
