I suppose it is less fun and more adventurous. I did it in my school days but later on, I decided not to exercise such hectic practices anymore. My friends, who still continue climbing (including one Mt. Everest aspirant) tell me also to accompany them. But Oops! I think it is rather impossible mission for me.

i got my taste of mountain climbing when i was in high school. most of my friends were CAT officership applicants, including me, and our officers tagged us along one time and climbed a mountain. after that, it became a kind of regular hobby for us to go mountain climbing every summer. but that was before when we still had a lot of free time and most of us were still singles. now, we hardly even see each others anymore. ^__^

not any big and treacherous mountain - but have hiked up smaller mountains - with baby on dad's back in a frame, it was exhilarating and great family fun.

Yes, when I was in high school. I joined nature lover and adventure club. We climb the mount Rinjani at my place. It took 1 full day to get to the top and we almost reaching the top by sunset but then decided to stop and find a good place to place our tent. The view of the clouds is so amazing. I feel like I was in heaven. The temperature is so cold, I couldnt sleep almost all night while I am really tired too. The next day we climb to the top and I am so proud of myself that I can reach the mountain top. It is so windy and quite hard to breathe but I am so excited.. That is my first and last mountain climbing until now. I really want to do it again but I am not sure, maybe it would not be as fun as before because all my friends now are busy with their own life..

Oh.. good for you. How was your climb? It must be easy for you now since you're used to it already. I've experienced it ones in my high school days when during our field trip, we stopped to climb the Musuan Peak. It was really exhausting yet enjoyable and fulfilling. Trully it was overwhelming to have climbed that mountain with my classmates and school mates.. If given the opportunity to have climbs again, i would gladly consider it because trully is't an adventure of a lifetime..
