Yesterday it was HOT and so I went to play squirt guns with my girls.

I have two daughters, ages 7 ( will be 8 on July 9th) and 11. I love being their mom. Yesterday it was quite hot ( 90) and of course like most kids, there they were outside having great fun with their squirt guns. Guess who had to join in? They love it when mom " plays" with them, I think I love it more. Of course I got drenched, but not before getting some good squirts in myself.
Sometimes I think my neighbors think that I am absolutely crazy, a grown woman acting like she is a little kid, splashing around in the pool without a care in the world, throwing water balloons, etc.. but there is not one minute that I regret, let the neighbors stare, my kids will have memories of our " playing " together that is all that matters to me!

I totally agree with you. You should see my husband with the kids, he looks like a big kid himself lol. I love to watch them all play together. I join in to, but right now at 8 months pregnant, mommy can't do too much running lol. If its one thing I remember about being a kid, its not the stuff my parents bought me, it was the fact that they spent time with us.

Its fun isn't it? My husband plays with them alot, sometimes I think I have 3 kids.. but its all in fun. A new baby, how great! Hope you don't get too uncomfortable during the warm days! Congrats on the baby.. there are days I wish I had more kids, then there are days 2 is a handful! Your right, the most important memories of what we did and not what they bought me brings more smiles.
