Theories:
(Ive done some research to prove my theory) User A. Me - my rating is 89/100 (9 star rating ) for 200+ posts..
User B. A Friend here in Mylot, 73/100 (7 star rating) for 1300+ number of posts
User C. A Popular Mylottian, 98/100 (a perfect 10 star rating ) for her 3200+ number of posts. *****You can see here the difference of our rating..How does mylot sum up the computation of our reputation? For the USER A (thats me..) I have 200+ number of posts, 90 of it is my started discussion and the rest are the responds to other's discussion. Small number of posts compare to USER B. Since USER B. (A friend) had 1800+ number of posts, 12 of this is her started discussion and the rest are her responds to other's discussion... For the USER C. ( A popular one) She have 3200+ number of posts, 450+ there is her started discussion and the rest are her responds to other's discussion..
CONCLUSION:
Reputation is not based on the number of your posts, its based on the number of your STARTED DISCUSSIONS..Like we saw on the situation of USER B.. Although she have 1800+ number of posts, she still having a hard time to maintain her 7 star rating coz sometimes its goes down to 6.. We should always balance our STARTED DISCUSSION to our RESPONDED DISCUSSIONS... I think we should have atleast a Ratio of 1:4 for the started discussion and responded discussion..

I hope it's not reliant to heavily on our started discussions as I prefer to just respond to discussions, I find it difficult to start good discussions. I'll bear this in mind however and have to try harder to start discussions.
