Carlos found out she was still taking the pill when they were supposed to be trying for a baby, and told her he'd never trust her again. All through the episode they'd been suggesting she was afraid of growing old alone too like her mother. A pretty horrible way of doing it too, she hung herself, you'd have thought they'd have had her take an overdose or something.

you know, they keep doing these things, directors I mean, whenever an actor/actress aren't useful/appliable any more they just find a way to kick them out of the show :(
