As students, we always have our favorite teachers and least favorite ones. So who is your least favorite of all you teachers and why? My least favorite was my teacher in Accounting II - Partnership Accounting. Whenever a student approaches him, he would always think that the students is just out to impress him. I disliked going to his classes. Though I understand his teaching methods and could grasp the concepts with his discussions, but I also found him narrow minded and too judgemental to his students and he has the habit of labeling students. Like, those who sits at the back are the cheaters and those at the front are the do gooders. In effect, I never got to approach him because he really intimidates me.

I really disliked my social science teacher that I had my junior and senior year in high school. He kept repeating himself, used the term "so on and so forth" about 500 times in class (yes, we counted!!) and I learned absolutely nothing. He was hard of hearing, showed favoritism to the "jocks", and his tests were so above our heads, it was remarkable that anyone in his class passed. I'm sorry your accounting teacher is awful. How does he expect kids to learn if they are afraid of him?

I don't really know what he may be thinking. LOL! He is insulting most of the time and says things wherein he thought that all of us are dumb. I learned something from him alright! If I wanted to pass his subject, I really had to study hard on my own. I didn't depend on his discussions to learn. It's the opposite in fact, his discussion is just sort of back-up for me.

The teacher I least like was my teacher in Statistics. She would always bragged on being a CumLaude or something. And that she only earned 1 peso from each of us.~lol She was so perfectionist, yet bitter in her teaching. Statistics would have been so enjoyable if she just knew how to present the subject well. What happened that year, she dropped our class.~lol I don't know we were blamed for giving her a difficult time. (^^,)

It must have been such a great relief when she dropped the class. We would have a fiesta if we happen to be her students that moment she dropped the class.

We would have celebrated, if?!~lol She wasn't replace by another super boastful male Stat-Math-Chem teacher. And well known as a terror for years at our university.~lol But, aside from his labelling stare sometimes, he was better in teaching Stats then her.~lol (^^,)

My least favorite was Ms Anderson Typing 101. She was just a simple yet hard core teacher never waivering from the course ever. Even on senior skip day she still tried to puish a homework assignment. She was a stickler for work in and out of class. Gawd I hated her. Guess that's why I flunked Typing 101 as did many otjhers in my class. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

My least favorite teacher was an English teacher who taught me English and math . He didn't give me a chance because he didn't care for my mother or my father and when I would hand in a report he would mark a seven out of ten on it without even reading it . I had told my mother about this and she thought I was just looking for excuses of why I couldn't do any better so one day my cousing and I traded papers , she always used to get a ten out of ten on every report . Well sure enough I got a seven and she got a ten again so we knew for sure he wasn't even reading our papers but just marking us on what he thought of us as students . I wasn't very good in math but I was very strong in English and this bothered me . A couple of years later I ended up with a new English teacher and she was my favortie teacher , she encouraged everyone and never gave anyone a hard time . I really liked her and she was one of the reasons I stuck it out in school in grade twelve when I so badly wanted to quit . She was very encouraging to all of us students and would take the time to find out what the problem was rather then assuming she knew everything .

Those kind of teachers should be taught not to label students. Their contempt have very lasting effect on some students that some become emotionally scarred for life.

Really? Oh, that teacher is so bad. I'd hate for him to be my teacher. I have this one teacher whom I disliked in high school. Maybe it's because she doesn't really know what she's talking about. It amazes me that she became a teacher, then again, maybe the my high school was just in really bad need of a teacher that's why she was hired. I also don't like professors who are so boring. They go straight by the book and doesn't even bother explaining anything in it...and they call themselves "teachers"

I so agree with you. I also dont like boring teachers. They are a menace in itself to students with dreams. They just dont know their impact on the students and their being bad teachers is a big discouragement to students to become better. They should also motivate the students to want to learn.

My least favourite was my Chinese teacher in grade 2 in junior middle school.I don't know what he was thinking about when he was teaching us,a very simple word awalys cost him half an hour or even a whole class time to teach, but when he come across a very diffcult word or sentence, what he did was only said that he didn't know very clear now and would teach us later day. However, this was over,he wouldn't refer to the word any longer.Beside this,he assigned us a lot of homework. Now he had been fired by the school because the suit of the student, but he ruined a semester of mine,my Chinese level didn't improve that semester.

The school would have to answer to that for hiring such an incompetent teacher in the first place. Well the damage has been done. All the best and thanks for sharing!

I have top three teachers that I least liked. One from grade school and two from college. But the one who tops the chart is the professor I've had in college. She was my teacher in a Filipino subject. What she did still irritates me up to this day. The whole semester we never learned anything from her. Because the whole time we spent with her was wasted doing nothing. She always told stories about her father who's a well-known author of a certain book. And to make things worse, she told us when the semester was about to end, that whoever buys a copy of her dad's book (which was completely useless to us because we don't need it),will receive the highest grade. Most of my classmates bought one and I was one of the few who refused to do it. Those of us who didn't buy her dad's book ended up with a much lower final grade.
