are you telling the truth?

People sometimes have hard time believing other people's story or statements. When asked if you are telling the truth?, these are the common answers: "yes, iam telling the truth!"..."that's the whole truth!"..."i swear!"...and a lot more. Is swearing makes a good statement and one that can be said truthful? Do you believe when people swear on things they say? How do you make people believe what you are saying is true? Do you swear?

Being a fan of Dr. Gregory House, and from my own personal experience, I believe that everyone lies, conciously or not. I always check out anything that I read and want to discuss. The internet is an absolute haven of bad (the nuts abound here) information so you have to be careful out there.
