Dumb laws in your state

I just found this website full of dumb laws and they are in categories of each state.
For instance in California,
Women may not drive in a house coat.
No vehicle without a driver may exceed 60 miles per hour.
Or in Maine,
You may not step out of a plane in flight.
Or in Idaho,
Riding a merry-go-round on Sundays is considered a crime.
I just thought it was funny, and might interest a few people to see the dumb laws on record in your state!

I read once that in the state of Michigan it is illegal to cut your grass on Thursday's and it is illegal for a chicken to crow before dawn. These are still on the law books, but never enforced. That is weird.

There is a strange one from a town on the English - Wales border called Chester that states tou are legally obliged to shoot a Welshman on the steps of the town hall if you are carrying a bow and arrow.
Being Welsh myself I have never had the nerve to test this law, I stay well away from the town hall :-o

I live in India. Here, I don't know about the laws, but most of the police and govt. authorities are dumb and moronic.
