That are instrumental in the accidental death of more kids than guns? Shower Bathtub Cleaning Products Oven Stove Power Outlets Plastic Bags Swimming Pool Hot Tub So, if you wouldn't have a gun in the house while you have kids... why would you have these?

BRAVO!!! excellent parallel you have drawn here! while those other things result in more accidental deaths (shall we also outlaw motorized vehicles? and perhaps food that needs to be chewed?) they can not be used to protect yourself and loved ones from others. may they never succeed in outlawing this right to bear arms.

The concept of blaming everything or everyone else instead of accepting consequences for ones own actions has led to this hysteria of outlawing anything & everything that is or could be dangerous to another human being.

Exactly! The Safety Police aren't happy until it's all banned.... unless they like to do it. :~D

as the moral laws are quickly decaying - we see the advent of a new kind of law - that is becoming as a religion to many. this new system uses the laws of "health and safety" with fear as its tactic to rally people to the cause.
