WHy do some men get angry when females turn lesbian?

Why do some men get angry when a woman turns lesbian, and acts like he could be the last chance to turn her straight again?

My ex husband got angry..he did everything but kill me and refused to accept it..has tried every possible way to ruin my life for the past 7 years..he thought it was a phase..LOL
