I really loved this book called "The Very Hungrey Caterpillar" and I also liked Shel Silverstein's books and also "Watership Down".

My favorite book was called "The Big Hungry Bear" by Audrey and Don Wood. In it, a little mouse is trying to guard a precious strawberry from a hungry bear. At one point, the mouse tries to disguise the strawberry with Groucho Marx glasses to fool the bear. I still get a laugh out of that book.

I liked the Dr Suess books too. I remember reading many of them. I'm not sure I had a particular favorite? As I got older I liked Black Beauty and the Black Stallion series of books. I loved horse books! Any books about horses! I still have many of those books. I hoped one of our kids would be interested in horses too. 3 kids and not one of them interested! Oh well, maybe someday one of them will have a baby and I'll convert that one into a horse lover like me! LOL

I remember loving a Sesame Street book about Grover and how there was a monster at the end of the book. It turned out that the monster was him! I also remember liking a book about Morris, i think, a moose that went to school with a friend. I also remember liking The Babysitters Club when I got to be around 8-9 years old.
