Copy and paste discussions on MyLot.

I've never cut/pasted from anywhere, don't think I've seen anyone on myLot do that either - though I'm sure if I have I just don't know. I do miss that feature and cannot wait until I have 500 post for it! I'm used to typing in my replies in notepad and then copy and pasting then over to my reply box, so I feel handicapped here! Heheh. But I do understand why myLot does it, and it's very smart of them to do put a limit for that feature.

i DO THE COPY PASTE BUT NOT A WHOLE DISCUSSION. iF IT'S A NEWS STORY i'LL COPY AND PASTE A SENTENCE OR TWO ONLY THEN PROVIDE THE LINK TO THE STORY. i WILL ALSO ADD MY COMMENTS/FEELINGS/OPINIONS ABOUT THE ARTICLE ALSO. tHIS OPTION IS ABUSED ALL TOO FEQUENTLY HERE. happy postings from grandpa bob !!~

There are only two things that bother me about the copy and paste. One, when some one's entire discussion is copy/paste. they don't add anything of thier own. I think that's stealing. Essentially you are getting paid for some one elses idea. And the second thing is when they pass it off as their own. In other words, they don't say "i found this at". they just put it there. I use copy and paste when discussion an article. I might paste some quote or excerp but I always say where it came from. I'll also paste web links so people can see the original article.

Sometime I do respond to them, other times I do not. If it is pasted from one posts to another, I will not respond. If it is an article or something I might respond, it just depends. I can see pasting some things, but there is a lot of pasting on here. And it is annoying to those of us that can't b/c clearly some people are taking advantage.
