Do you Jaywalk?

Just in case you're not familiar with what it is, here's the wiki on it: Jaywalking is a term used to describe when a pedestrian crosses the street without regard to traffic statutes. In common use, the term generally refers to someone crossing a major street outside a designated crosswalk or intersection, in jurisdictions where this is illegal. Everyday when I get off work and go to my bus stop there's this bigger woman across the street that impatiently taps her foot, waiting for traffic to stop for her, instead of walking the 1/2 block to the crosswalk. It drives me nuts, because everyone else has to walk to the crosswalk, so why can't she? She works right next door to my workplace, so it's not as if she really has to walk any further. I'll admit I do jaywalk on slow streets, but I'd never be so irresponsible as to assume that on a busy street, cars might actually notice a pedestrian randomly crossing.

I know jaywalk is a bad habit, but I have the expeirence of doing it. I know it is bad behivor, but that day, I am too urgently for something and no one walk on the road, and no car on the road, so I do it. I will not do it in future. and I will say sorry for that day's jaywalk.

I often jaywalk when there's nobody looking(policemen) because i always take the shorter route to where i'm going even if i have to jaywalk to get there...
