For people in plano, tx

I don't know why I haven't seen this discussion until now. I live in Plano. I have been here many years now. I am twice your age so our interests would be very different I am sure but I do love living here because there is so much to do. First of all, April to about he end of June is super fun because there is a festival of some sort that can be found every weekend. You have missed many of them for this year there is Wildflower festival in Richardson(music mostly), Arts Festival in Addison, Taste Addison (food and music), Jazz Festival in Denton(art and jazz), Downtown Arts weekend in McKinney, Cottonwood Arts Festival in Richardson, and there are many more. Plano website under Rec. and Leisure there are a ton of things to choose from classes you can take to lectures, whatever. We live by the Guide in the Friday edition of the Dallas Morning News. If you liked Main Event, there is also Dave and Busters... two in Dallas and on in Frisco Stonebriar Mall. The mall has a movie theater.. dinner and games at Dave and Busters, then a late move is a good date night. If you like baseball but don't want to deal with the crowds in Arlington, Frisco Rough Riders (a AA team for the Rangers) is a fun outting. There is also Pizza Hut Park in Frisco where you can catch some world class soccer (and other events). I hope this helps a little.
