Hello mylotters, i'm just really too curious to ask each individual here about this life's practical question. This is all about 'God's return' here on earth, real soon. I believe generally speaking, that not all individuals so to speak, believe that if this kind of thing would truly happen for real...but for me personally, I do truly believe that it will, oneday in a very unexpectedly glimpse of time. Just want to know all other's opinions and shared thoughts here without any debates that goes on, my question is: 'If the 'Lord returns' before this day is over, will you be ready?'...

I am ready. We cannot know if the world is ready, or if anyone else is. He has waited this long to give us time to be witnesses to others, but when He says enough is enough... well, I'm ready!

Yes! I can't help but smile (and sometimes cry) when I think of how awesome it will be to see Him and be with Him so completely forever and ever.

Ohh that's so sweet, to smile and cry because of God's love and that we are excited to be with Him in His presence truly is very amazing and a wondrous experience it will be like. :-)

Thanks for sharing peavey, that is indeed a great faith you have. It would be a very exciting moment to face our Savior in a near future to come. Isn't it? :-)

I'm not ready. The Church isn't ready. The world isn't ready. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but he is longsuffering towards us, not willing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9, KVJ 2000) So glad that my good God is more forgiving and patient than many 'Christians' who never mind how many would be left behind!

Thanks vivienna for sharing. I do understand your point there, and I believe that God has given each one of us our own choices in both freedom and life and no one I guess would like to see them left behind, but as I said the choice of being left behind is only ours. :-)

Would it be so, but don't you think of literally thousand of millons who never had a chance to hear the word of Christ? Do you know that at a whole Christianity spends millions and millions in music, books, places of worship, but cares only little for missions to unreached people?

I disagree, because first of all that is why we have Missionaries all over the world because of what they desire to spread the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, but like I said...it's the people themselves make their own choices to receive or to listen the Word or to reject them and don't listen at all. It's the peoeple's choice after all, no one needs to forced them to hear the Gospel.

I believe in the second coming of Jesus and I believe that is will be soon. I also believe that I am ready for Him. Something else to think about. We never know when we are going to die so we should be ready for Him each day even if He doesn't come for 10 years.

Yes, you are right we should always be ready and prepared at all times for we never know our days here on earth and the coming of our Lord Jesus to take us home with Him. So, it's much better to get ready than too late, thanks for sharing. :-)

i hope you don't take it literally.would anyone announce if they are to give you a surprise party? especially with god's plan, has he ever told you his plan for you?of course not because or else everyone would be just doing things for him and not for his fellow men.Christ's second coming, if he is to be amongst us like before definitely he would creep in with us unnoticed and not in the same profession he was in,maybe this time he would be someone of stature.this is just a play of the mind but the second coming means being reborn and being reborn means new life.he is saying that he is already here and if you accept him as your saviour live a christian life that means he is reborn within each of us.so, he is talking about us to mend our twisted ways and be good to your fellow men and not just be obsessed in adoration of him because that is unproductively not useful to us humans.he is telling to love, not only to praise him but more of how we are with other people like taking care of mother nature for the next generation of life to enjoy and make use of its function to function well in spreading love for one another.knowing how to manage one's life and not just hide and whine because there is no hope.it means live again bewcause he is within us and not without.

Hello tigerdragon, I appreciate you for sharing your thoughts here. Yes, I do agree with your perspectives and opinions about this discussion and to know...you've got it all right. But just onething I want to clarify that God's second coming is real and is going to happen for real, why? because His Word say so in the book of Revelation we can surely find all the details there about it. But anyways, we are not to make it sounds like a debate but just only to make some clarification with our reasonings, that's all. Glad to hear your opinions here :-)

You know, I have asked that question many times. I remember one time here in Hawaii there was a thunder sound like I've never heard before. I actually thought that it was the coming of Christ. The first thing I did was ask for forgiveness and when I did that I thought if it is his coming, it was too late for me to ask for forgiveness. I agree with you when you say that his coming will be unexpectedly. The bible actually uses the example of a thief that comes to your house at night. You know, we never know when our house will be robbed. So just like the coming of Christ, we never know when he will come. As for your question, I don't know if I'm ready. I know that if he was to ask me do go with him that very day, I know I will tell him yes. This is just like the question I asked about being saved. Take a look at the discussion and leave your opinions about that.

In my opinion, the 'God' is actually live in everyone's heart,if y think he's coming true,he is alive, and he'll lee you ,make your every efforts come true, yet if you never believe in or think of him, maybe he is existence, but in anywhere else but your reach.

I believe in God's complete sovereignty. Therefore, I believe that I will be as ready as the Lord needs me to be. I could not be as "Christ like" today at 41, as I may be if He were to come when I am 71. I think we are constantly being conformed to His image...Romans 8:29-31. I just pray that I continue to remain in His will until His return...or until I can be with Him.

I think I would be ready. Though I believe that God is already here with us. It is just a matter of recognizing him and letting him in our lives.

Exactly! recognizing God's presence in our lives makes life worthwhile and a worth living for. That is a great thing that you're also ready to be with our God in Heaven when in His return. :-)
