do you tried consulting a "quack doctor"?

do you believe they can really cure illnesses? i just can't imagine how they do such thing, curing illnesses with their bare hands? i just can't believe them, really.. but my oldies believe in them, there are so many "quack doctor" in our province.... others believe and others consult them just to see for theirselves...

I'm glad you posted this question because I posted something similar to this but nobody responded. I am interested in reading more about people's opinion on this. I don't believe in quack doctors but just like your elders, my elders believe in them too. I hate the belief itself because everytime my baby gets a fever the elders here bring her to a quack. It tears me apart to hear her screaming with pain under the quack's hands. I'll check on this discussion regularly to read on other people's opinions. Thanks for this topic

wow! i'm really glad you liked my topic.. thanks for that.. yes, you're right, i just can't imagine my elders are still believing this quack doctors while in fact, they don't know about curing illnesses.. they do know about the leaves, the oils,etc.. what is the connection of that? putting leaves in your forehead... something like that... i can't imagine that will cure....
