http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Born-again_Christian A born again Christian is someone who have been reborn in the spirit by accepting that he is a sinner and could not save himself through good works but by the grace of God. He believes that Jesus Christ died on the cross to save him from his sins and personally invited Jesus Christ to come into his life. As a result he was given the gift of eternal life and he knows for sure that if he dies he will go to heaven. Finally, he confesses that Jesus Christ is his Lord and Savior and lives a life that is pleasing to God. He reads the Bible and follow its doctrines, admonitions and teachings. He attends a Bible-believing local church and fellowships with his fellow believers. Are you a born again Christian? If so, please advise when you were born again and how. Also, provide a link of your discussions and/or responses you have talked about your faith, if any. If you are not, please find another discussions to respond to unless you would want to become born again. God bless!

Thanks for standing up for the Lord. The time will come that all knees will bow and acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, although, many of them are disagreeing right now. Praise God for your conviction!

I'll stand up over here. I was raised "in church," some of my earliest memories are of going to an Assembly of God church. When I got older, we moved away from Grandma and church. Daddy worked 7 days a week on a ranch and we never went to church. After I'd been married and divorced, I went a little crazy and got into some things I shouldn't have. It's a longer story than I can tell here, but God brought me back one night on a lonely dirt road, sitting in my car and staring at the stars. As He spoke to me, I told Him that I had messed up my life so much that I didn't want it any more, so if He wanted it, He could have it. He did want it, and I am forever indebted to Him. Yes, I'm born again, praise His name.

I forgot to address the rest of your request. I have a web site called "We Are Called," along with my sister (http://www.wearecalled.com) and if you look around, you'll see that I post a lot about my faith. I used to have my testimony on line. Maybe I should write it again.

That's wonderful. The Lord, indeed, would never leave us nor forsake us. We can forget Him but He never does. He always waits for us to come back to Him. Thanks for sharing. I visited your website and read some of the stories there. You and you're sister are good!

That's great! Ours is also non denominational church. Our foremost authority is the Bible and the basic creed is we believe in God in three different persons which are the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ came to earth to save us from our sins and we become a Christian by having faith in that. Thanks.

Standing up! I was raised Catholic. I'm going to a differnt type of church now. I have made the choice to accept Jesus as my lord and savior, and to honor my lord by following his word. I plan on being baptized this year. My church promotes believes baptism. I am a very shy person so this is a huge thing for me. We started going to this church and one day people were being baptised, and I said to my hubby their is no way they will ever get me up there! LOL the fact that I am willing and I want to is proof enough for me! My hear has been changed and my life will never be the same!

Yes I am born again thru the forgiveness of Christ. I also have been baptised in the holy spirit. And have for some time. Although i have gone to church most of my life i have not always been right with God.I have in the past year, thru prayers of my wife and church family fought the devil and came back to Christ. I have since sercome to my calling and am now preaching part time. As far as links or threads I am a newby to mylot, and I am just now getting started exspessing my views on biblical studies.
