i'm throughing my daughter a princess party for her b-day. i have a few game ideas but i need some more. so far we are going to play... snow white's poison apple (hot potato), jasmin's magic carpet, (where kids step on coloured paper until the music stopes then one colour is picked out of the hat and those people are out), kiss the prince frog ( kind of like pin the tail on the donkey) princess and the pea, read the story and find out if you are a princess and if you feel the small ball under the pillow on the floor. read the cinderella story and a present gets passed from kid to kid when the word cinderella is said. at the end whoever ends up with the girft in hand opens it. so those are my ideas so far. i could use a few more game ideas. we are also doing wand crafts and decorating our own cupcakes

How about pick a princess. Gather your daughters princess dolls and put them in a circle. The game is going to go just like muscial chairs but instead of sitting in chair you have to pick up a princess when the music stops. Each time you take a doll away untill you have a winner. Oh she is going to have so much!! Tell her Happy Birthday for Me and Good Luck to you!!

thanks, what a good idea. i bought dresses for all the girls as well so i can make something up where they have to search in the living room for the doll that coresponds to their outfit to win a prize.

My daughter played "princess, princess, queen" at her last birthday party. It's played like duck, duck, goose. All the little princesses sit in a circle, except one. The one standing is the queen. She circles the group, tapping each girl on the head, saying the word princess. She then chooses one to be the queen, and when she gets to that girl, she taps the new "queen" on her head, and says queen. She then needs to run around the circle, and sits where the new queen was sitting. If the new queen catches her, she must be the queen again, if she sits without being caught, it's the new queen's turn. Sounds like a fun day. I hope your daughter has a GREAT birthday!!!

I'm answering this from an email and cannot view the previous responses so I hope my idea hasn't already been mentioned. How about 'pin the crown on the princess.' You could cut out a big princess and make cardboard crowns for pinning onto the cutout while blindfolded.

You sound like you have everything well in hand. I like all your games they seem so neat. My daughter never had a princes party but a lot of things have changed since she was a child. I think your daughter weill have a great time at this party. I wish your daughter a happy birthday and a great day of fun and sun. I can not think of anything that could top what you have already gotten together.

You have a lot of great ideas. They will have a great time. What about "Pin the Tiara on the Princess"? you could make a tracing of your daughter and then make flat tiaras out of cardboard and tin foil. That is just an idea.
