I just found a wonderful new treat. I may be way behind the times, but I had never heard of chocolate covered coffee beans. Just the idea was gross to me and I love coffee. So I sampled one and, lo and behold, I really liked them. Not in the dark chocolate though, in milk chocolate. Any other recruits out there?

lol i bought some of these for my nephew and he LOVED them! caffene comes in coffee and chocolate so you get a double shot, personally, i am not a fan of these as i don't like coffee, but hey as long as you don't eat too many of them, you are cool... here in canada, laura secord (a local chocolatier) makes them and sometimes you can get them on sale!

I love these in milk and dark chocolate. if you are sensitive to caffeine, then a few can really get you wired.

I love those things! :) Here in our downtown marketplace, there is a store when they are made fresh daily... you can't beat this great combo of chocolate and roasted beans... the queue for this place seems endless all day long! OOOHHH, I haven't had these yet! Two of my favorite things combined...sounds decadent! I love coffee and I am a chocolate addict. I'm certain there is no place in this one-horse town in which I live that sells them though. I will have to try them while vacationing or order them on line. Thanks for letting me know about them!

oh man, I have been wanting to try these for years but we live in the boonies and no such creation exists here....well I finally got my chance when we were in Omaha a few weeks ago. Star Bucks had them. Small pkg of expresso beans covered in chocolate for $3.50. I bought a pack for my son's principal who is a coffee freak and one for myself. They are so good - and I do not care to drink coffee at all. I have a friend who makes truffles that she rolls in coffee grounds that are also incredible. I got to be careful with those beans though - it is nothing to eat 3 or 4 and want some more, but being expresso beans they do pack a whallup!

I tried them once too, and I did sort of like them. I don't actually like coffee, so I thought I'd hate them, but I didn't mind them so much with the chocolate on them. :)

Oh, you must be very, very careful with those things. They are EXTREMELY addictive. I gobbled a whole sack full of them once, just couldn't get enough of the heavenly combination of coffee and chocolate - can it really get any better??

Wow I looked them up online (because I have never tasted them before )and they looked delicious. But just curious wouldn't they taste bitter? I figured whole coffee beans might be bitter if eaten whole.
